JOB DESCRIPTION

As a Technical Data Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in managing and analyzing technical data to support business operations and decision-making. Your expertise in data management, data analysis, and technical documentation will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of technical data. You will report directly to our Sr Software Engineering Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Mason, OH location on a hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the organization by effectively managing technical data, ensuring its quality and availability for various stakeholders. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze technical data, identify trends and patterns, and provide insights to drive operational efficiency and continuous improvement.

• Gather, review, validate, and format customer asset data for entry into the central system of record.

• Ensure data accuracy by cross-referencing information from various sources.

• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings to extract relevant data.

• Partner with various customer-focused teams across the business to maintain an up-to-date central customer asset database.

• Regularly communicate with field teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to keep data current.

• Analyze results from site audits, updates to project files, and modifications to project drawings.

• Identify discrepancies and work with relevant teams to resolve any data inconsistencies.

• Implement quality control measures to ensure data accuracy and consistency.

• Conduct regular audits of data entries and address any discrepancies promptly.

• Utilize one or more asset management software tools to run reports, create alerts, and perform other data-related tasks as needed.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex information.

• Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. WE VALUE:
