Assurance Advisor, Climate Change and Sustainability Services (CCaSS) - Climate Change and Decarbonization (Manager) (Multiple Positions), Ernst & Young U.S. LLP, New York, NY.

Full time employment, Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week, 8:30 am – 5:30 pm.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Accounting, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Science or a related field and 5 years of related work experience. Alternatively, will accept a Master’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Accounting, Engineering, Environmental Science, Data Science or related field and 4 years of related experience.

Must have 4 years of Sustainability experience.

Must have 3 years of combined experience working with climate change megatrends, net-zero decarbonization strategies, GHG inventory plans, and data management, TCFD, climate disclosures, renewable energy, scope 3 supply chain decarbonization strategies, and carbon offsets/markets.

Must have 3 years of experience with researching and resolving emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices, and new technologies.

Must have 3 years of consulting experience within a large professional firm.

Must have 2 years of experience with net-zero and science-based target decarbonization strategies.

Must have certification/accreditation in one of the following in your work state; CSSGB (Certified Six Sigma Green Belt); GHG Verifier (Greenhouse Gas Emissions Verification issued by CARB); ISSP-CSP (International Society of Sustainability Professionals-Certified Sustainability Professional); ISSP-SA (International Society of Sustainability Professionals-Sustainability Associate); LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design); PE (Professional Engineer); PMP (Project Management Professional); Global Reporting (GRI); Green building (LEED); Green House Gas (GHG); Environmental Health and Safety (EHS), Global Association of Risk Professional (GARP) or sufficient coursework/experience requirements to obtain certification within one year of hire.
