Responsibilities:

• Design, architect, and implement automation solutions using Ansible, Chef, and other configuration management tools to streamline infrastructure provisioning, configuration, and deployment processes.

• Leverage AI-driven solutions such as IAOPS to enhance automation capabilities, predictive analytics, and self-healing mechanisms for infrastructure and applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into automated workflows and processes.

• Develop and maintain automation frameworks, playbooks, and recipes to automate routine tasks, configuration management, and application deployment.

• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security standards, including PCI DSS, GDPR, and SOX, by implementing automated compliance checks and controls.

• Optimize infrastructure and application performance through automation, monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members, promoting best practices and standards for automation and configuration management.

• Evaluate new technologies, tools, and methodologies to enhance automation capabilities and drive operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in automation engineering or related roles, preferably in the financial services industry.

• Proven expertise in Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or similar configuration management tools.

• Strong understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles and experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Docker.

• Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Python, Ruby, or Shell scripting.

• Solid understanding of financial business processes, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.

• Experience with AI-driven automation solutions such as IAOPS, with a focus on predictive analytics and self-healing mechanisms.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications in Ansible, Chef, IAOPS, or related technologies

• Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.

• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Familiarity with DevOps practices and principles.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
