As an Adv HW Engineer, you will work in close co-ordination with the Project team to deliver the assigned tasks as per the schedule with the highest standard of quality and first-time right concept. You will have to interact with various cross functional stake holders and project teams to ensure delivery of the project.

• The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering with12+ yearsof relevant experience

Understanding ofElectronic componentsand capability to find alternates

Component selection and design ofAnalog circuits

Microcontroller andMicroprocessor (Digital) designsfor interfacing memory and other peripherals

Usage of Schematicand Layout tools like Orcad, Xpedition, etc

Understanding of theEMI/EMC Concepts

Developmental Testingof designs for Environmental & Compliance requirements

Usage of Electronic Test & Measurement equipment’s

Understanding ofCPLD, FPGA designs

AC/DC, DC/DC power supplysimulation, design, development and testing

Analytical thinking capabilities in debugging the failed boards

Understand and Write the Firmware in Assembly & C language

Understanding of theHardware Development Life Cycle

• Usage of MS Office and other tools as required.
• Experience with FM, CSA, CE, ATEX

Good hands on experience to build FPGAsimulation / testbench / simulation environmentusingVHDL/Verilog. Good exposure withXilinx / Modelsim Simulators. Good hands on with Logic Analyzer and Oscilloscopes.

Responsibilities

• Work with the team as a single unit
• Highlight issues well in advance and lead efforts to fix the issues
• Prepares and maintain Issues/Action Item database.
• Ensure seamless communication with other functional areas (SW, FW, HW ,Product Mgmt, etc.)
• Ensure that all projects are completed in a timely manner
• Coordinate testing activities with other teams
• Ensure product performance meets engineering and product specifications
