As anUndergraduate Supply Chain Planning Intern, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Conducting projects to reduce inventory, lower supply chain cost, and/or improve availability of products to 3M customers

• Analyzing supply chain data to provide insights to 3M supply chain planning teams

• Creating reports, tools, and presentations to effectively organize and communicate information needed by supply chain planning management

• Participating in training sessions and team meetings to further your development and make an impact for 3M

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business or engineering from an accredited institution

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• in Supply Chain Management, data science/analytics, Industrial Engineeringor related discipline from an accredited institution

• Previous experience or involvement related to Supply Chain Management

• Strong technical and analytical skills

• Demonstrated scientific and technical acumen, with ability to make connections between science/technology and real-world concerns

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Ability to deal with ambiguity as it relates to technical problems and experimentation

• Demonstrated scientific excellence as evidenced by publications and presentations

• Demonstrated leadership activities and building network

• Self-motivated and self-directed

• Excellent communication skills (oral, written, and presentation)

• Experience working on a team
