Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechatronic Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
3D CAD and 2D CAD tools to create manufacturing parts.
Performing design for assembly (DFA) and design for manufacturability (DFM) assessments to refine design solutions.
Creating and releasing technical drawings for prototyping and mass production.
Use analytical tools to refine designs prior to release.
Conduct failure analysis using data collected on advanced instruments.
Utilize materials engineering principles to design material-based solutions conducive to mass production.
Parse and synthesize large datasets to identify issues and proposed solutions.
Lead the end-to-end design and engineering integration of complex sub-systems involving multiple customer-facing features.
