- Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Mechatronic Engineering or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- 3 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:
- 3D CAD and 2D CAD tools to create manufacturing parts.
- Performing design for assembly (DFA) and design for manufacturability (DFM) assessments to refine design solutions.
- Creating and releasing technical drawings for prototyping and mass production.
- Use analytical tools to refine designs prior to release.
- Conduct failure analysis using data collected on advanced instruments.
- Utilize materials engineering principles to design material-based solutions conducive to mass production.
- Parse and synthesize large datasets to identify issues and proposed solutions.
- Lead the end-to-end design and engineering integration of complex sub-systems involving multiple customer-facing features.
