Minimum qualifications:
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- 4 years of experience leading projects, and providing technical leadership.
- 3 years of experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting distributed systems.
- Experience in network design, including routing protocols, control and management plane techniques, network orchestration and network automation.
- Experience in solving real world networking scale problems and troubleshooting behavior in wide area and data center networking.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience within the Service Provider industry, with focus on delivering quality networking results to external customers.
- Experience working in computing, distributed systems, storage, or networking.
- Experience in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
- Experience coaching and mentoring others.
- Ability to debug, optimize code, and to automate routine tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving, verbal and written communication skills.
