You need to have the ability to work within a fast moving and startup-like environment in a large company. You will identify solutions, trying ideas, given space to fail and iterate to produce products that your customers love.What you will do?Key job responsibilities
- Solve complex problems, applying appropriate technologies and best practices.
- Work on project ideas with customers, stakeholders, peers and helping balance customer requirements with team requirements.- Improve and focus on operational excellence, constructively identifying problems and proposing solutions.
- Work to resolve the root cause of complex problems, leaving software better and easier to maintain than when you found it.
A day in the life- Provide CR and DR feedback to stay up to date with the progress of your peer's projects
- Provide clear design reviews and detailed planning to complete them with consistent updates
- Complete sprint tasks assigned from your project planning or any other team high priority user stories. Our work consistently requires working with our internal customers directly such as EC2 and Data Center Operatives.
- Attend and influence roadmap planning

- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language

- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
