Responsibilities
- Participate in small or large project tasks across all disciplines to produce project deliverables.
- Assist design team with a variety of tasks that will enhance your knowledge of design and construction for active civil projects.
- Field investigations and site visits to support design activities during construction.
- Work in AutoCAD and/or MicroStation, Excel, and Word, to support designers.
- Data research, preparing and distributing reports.
Here's what you'll need
- In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited program
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Strong analytical, conceptual, organizational, and communication skills.
Ideally, you’ll also have:
- 3.0 GPA
- Engineer in Training (EIT)
- At least a rising Junior
- Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably Microstation/OpenRoads/Autocad/Civil3d)
- A previous internship related to roadway or highway design
- Self-driven time management and organizational skills
