Key job responsibilities
* Develop scalable large scale mathematical models to derive optimal or near-optimal solutions to existing and new business challenges.* Build prototype and simulation models to test devised solutions.* Advocate technical solutions to business stakeholders, engineering teams, as well as executive-level decision makers.* Create policy evaluation methods to track the actual performance of devised solutions in production systems, identify areas with potential for improvement and work with internal teams to improve the solution with new features.* Mentor team members for their career development and growth.* Present business cases and document models, analyses, and their results in order to influence important decisions.* Work comfortably in a multi-disciplinary setting.

- PhD in operations research, applied mathematics, theoretical computer science, or equivalent
- Experience in patents or publications at top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals
- Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language
- Experience in any of the following areas: algorithms and data structures, parsing, numerical optimization, data mining, parallel and distributed computing, high-performance computing

- 2+ years of building models for business application experience
- Experience in professional software development
- Experience in sequential decision making, inventory optimization, or distributed optimization
