Join a team that maintains, repairs and overhauls manufactured equipment. You will work under immediate supervision and alongside some of the world's most talented assembly mechanics. You will be provided with on-the-job training and learning experiences. You will facilitate preventative maintenance, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting, and equipment repair. LvL 1 mechanics will learn to final out APUs that are received after test and before inspection. Mechanics will learn to secure APUs for transport to and from our main plant facility as needed and will be required to pass a DOT background check.

• Ensure compliance with internal procedures
• Participate in project teams
• Perform final checkout duties for Auxiliary Power Units, following established checkout procedures
• Load completed units onto Low boy trailers and deliver to final inspection and departure points on the Honeywell Campus
• Resolve technical issues
• Equipment troubleshooting
• Equipment Repair
• Test equipment and components
• Identify parts for replacement
• Participate in formal training
• Preventative maintenance

• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid drivers license and no major violations

• Basic knowledge of [mechanical or electrical] repair
• Attention to detail and ability to follow meticulous instructions
• Willingness to grow and learn
• Ability to complete work as instructed and follow up
• Capable of moving wheeled equipment onto and off of a trailer
