Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

• 2+ years of experience with programming (e.g., C, C++, Python), computer architecture, or embedded systems.

• 1+ year of applicable wireless, semiconductor and/or embedded software industry experience.

• 6+ months of WWAN modem development specific experience.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies Modem Software knowledge to assist in the design, implementation, verification, validation, and commercialization of the Wireless WAN (or cellular) core network and data connectivity software solutions on our modem.

• Assists in the implementation of core network and connectivity aspects of our cellular modem from industry specifications.

• Assists in addressing modem project engineering functions in order to deliver world-class modem solutions.

• Develops unit test cases to test/verify code.

• Collaborates with team members to design products and weigh tradeoff against requirements.

Writes technical documentation and feature descriptions for Modem SW projects.

Level of Responsibility:

• Works under supervision.

• Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.

• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.

• Tasks consist of a limited number of steps and can be referenced using directions or manuals.

Pay range:

$97,000.00 - $145,000.00
