Recovery and Resolution Planning (RRP) is responsible for the design, development and maintenance of the firm’s recovery and resolution plans and related capabilities. The plans require development of central strategies to support timely and effective execution of various financial, legal and operational actions during periods of unprecedented stress. Development of the plans requires coordination with stakeholders across the organization, including technology, finance, treasury, operations and businesses, to ensure execution readiness. RRP sets the requirements for and reviews plan documentation to ensure that it meets regulatory guidelines and is fit for purpose to guide management and board throughout both the planning and execution phases. RRP is also responsible for identifying required capabilities necessary to support plan development and execution and for establishing the framework to support capabilities testing. Finally, RRP oversees and manages the governance process associated with plan approval and submission along with regulatory engagement for plan review and challenge.

The RRP Data Remediation Lead is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing data governance, management, and reporting for Citi’s Recovery and Resolution Planning framework. This role ensures the integrity, automation, and strategic utilization of data to support Citi’s compliance with regulatory requirements, internal governance, and financial resilience objectives. The SVP will work closely with Finance, Risk, Treasury, and Technology teams to drive data-driven decision-making, enhance reporting capabilities, and implement robust data management practices. The individual will be able to efficiently organize, analyze, present and archive data in formats appropriate for both execution leads and senior management audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of Citi’s RRP data governance framework, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and internal policies.
  • Oversee data sourcing, integration, and validation processes to ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency in RRP reporting.
  • Develop and enhance automated data workflows, leveraging data visualization and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, and Python.
  • Drive the production and enhancement of regulatory reports and internal dashboards, ensuring timely and accurate reporting to senior management and regulators.
  • Partner with Technology and Finance teams to implement scalable data solutions, including automation of key reporting processes and advanced analytics.
  • Establish and maintain data quality controls, lineage tracking, and issue resolution mechanisms to enhance the reliability of RRP data.
  • Collaborate with Treasury, Risk, and Finance teams to streamline data-related processes and optimize reporting efficiency.
  • Support RRP governance forums by providing data-driven insights, trends, and recommendations for senior leadership and regulators.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in data workflows, ensuring adaptability to evolving regulatory requirements

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in Corporate Treasury, data management, data modeling, financial reporting, risk analytics, or regulatory reporting within a global financial institution.
  • Strong technical expertise in data analytics, including experience with Tableau, Power BI, Python, etc.
  • understanding of U.S. regulatory reporting requirements and their data implications.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and drive data transformation projects within Finance, Risk, or Treasury functions.
  • Subject matter expertise with data remediation Improvements to key direct Resolution metrics including Resolution Liquidity Execution Need (RLEN), Resolution Capital Execution Need (RCEN),Resolution Liquidity Adequacy and Positioning (RLAP) and Resolution Capital Adequacy and Positioning (RCAP)
  • Knowledge with developingliquidity balance sheet, income statements, and other financial data as well as the maintenance of forecasting capabilities for recovery and resolution scenario generation.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex data insights to senior management and regulators.
  • Strong project management skills, with experience in process improvement and automation initiatives.
  • Good understanding of financial services data, regulatory requirements, and compliance frameworks – interest in building Recovery and Resolution Planning knowledge/expertise
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, excel, PowerPoint
