Description
- Design and implementation of firmware for DRAM initialization, training, and characterization- Improving and maintaining the development and debug environments, tools and methodologies- Support of functional test environment for device characterization, failure analysis, and mass production- Developing software to prove that the silicon behaves as architected under the various supported modes- Developing targeted functional tests to screen failures identified during the product lifecycle- Work with silicon designers on proof of concept features.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelors degree with 0 years of experience
  • Proficiency in C programming
  • A real passion for embedded software development
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proficiency in development of multi-threaded software within embedded RTOS
  • Experience with Linux Kernel programming (school projects and/or internships)
  • Experience using laboratory equipment (e.g., logic analyzer, digital oscilloscope)
  • Familiarity and/or interest in DRAM - LPDDR4/LPDDR5 concepts
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $53.53 and $88.29/hr, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
