This role will lead end-to-end marketing efforts for the Apple Games app. You will collaborate closely with a variety of cross-functional teams—including channel leads, creative, product, editorial, and business teams—to define campaign objectives, strategy, messaging, and KPIs, ultimately delivering performant campaigns and initiatives. You will also partner regularly with international marketing teams around the world to execute tailored marketing activities and campaigns that resonate locally. Success in this role requires a builder’s mindset, and as the dedicated marketing lead for our newest app you will build marketing plans, learning agendas, and processes from the ground up.As the WW Marketing Manager for Apple Games, strong communication and collaboration skills will be critical to your success, including the ability to influence and drive consensus. You will regularly craft and deliver flawless presentations to senior audiences, distilling complex information into clean and compelling narratives. This role also requires a blend of creativity and analytical prowess, bringing ideas to help us break through the noise with attention-grabbing marketing while also understanding how to measure the success of those initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of strategy and execution, playing a critical role in the Apple Games app’s success.
  • 9+ years of experience in integrated consumer marketing, including experience in the mobile gaming industry
  • Passion for gaming, with affinity for mobile games
  • Proven ability to build comprehensive marketing plans and briefs encompassing market context, competition, target audience, and performance metrics
  • Experience collaborating closely with international and/or regional marketing teams in other markets to deliver global campaigns
  • Analytical skills and a data-driven mindset; experience using data to optimize strategy, performance, and business impact
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills; thrives working on highly collaborative projects, effective at building consensus, fostering trust, and handling decisions with ease while navigating ambiguity
  • Strong project management skills, including experience overseeing multi-stakeholder execution of highly complex campaigns and initiatives
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, along with storytelling skills, including the ability to create and deliver compelling presentations to executive audiences
  • Ability to work with international teams in other time zones
  • An innovative thinking with knowledge of how to incubate creative marketing activations that break through — and proven ability to execute those ideas
  • Experience directly leading campaigns in non-US markets preferred
  • Previous experience working within a large technology company preferred
  • Agency-side experience is a plus
