General Summary:

  • Work on research and exploration of new features and algorithms as well as improvement of existing features for Adreno GPUs. These include features for general purpose GPU (GPGPU), machine learning, and 3D graphics.

  • Work closely with internal teams on content creation, software, compiler, design, and verification, to produce comprehensive architectural solutions.

  • Collaborate with internal and external customers on GPGPU, machine learning, computer vision, IoT, and automotive product lines.

  • In-depth analysis, profiling, optimization of critical GPGPU benchmarks and use cases, development of micro-benchmarks, and competitive analysis of GPGPU/ML features.

  • Development of functional and performance models for HW/SW features and algorithms.

  • Participate in open-source GPGPU/ML projects.

  • Contribute to GPU standardization activities, such as OpenCL, SYCL and SPIR-V.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

  • 2+ years of relevant GPU experience (either external or internal). 1+ years of work experience in a role requiring interaction with senior leadership (e.g., Director and above).

  • 1+ years in a technical leadership role with direct reports (only applies to positions with direct reports).

Experience on implementation and optimization of ML/large language models (such as Llama 7b) on GPU using CUDA/OpenCL/ROCm/HIP/Vulkan/DX is a big plus.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 2+ years of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field and 1+ year of Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.

PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Pay range:

$125,000.00 - $187,000.00
