These Customer Engineers are expected to:

• Understand every aspect of customers' requirements and designs

• To communicate with internal product & development teams on any HW/SW design related issues/features from customer designs

• To work with customers in resolving any feature development and product commercialization issues.

Responsibilities:

• Provide training to customer

• Assisting customer with some software feature design

• Integration, development, system debugging on OEM designs.

• Handling customer Q&A, and work closely with internal developers.

Skill/Experiences: (USB)

• Be familiar with USB protocols and the process of link training.

• Experience on USB electric compliance tests

• Experience on Windows/ACPI/UEFI is a plus

• 4-5 years’ experience, proficiency in C/C++ Programming and debugging.

Skill/Experiences: (PCIE)

• Be familiar with PCIe protocols and the process of link training.

• Experience on PCIe electric compliance tests

• Experience on Windows/ACPI/UEFI is a plus

• 4-5 years’ experience, proficiency in C/C++ Programming and debugging.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Applies Hardware Application knowledge to provide technical expertise of hardware by assisting in trainings, product demonstrations, and the design, debug, test, and quality support of customer products that are based on Qualcomm chips.

• Collaborates with team members in reviewing potential application of company products, assisting in preparation of product specifications, and/or troubleshooting issues regarding hardware tools and products.

• Answers customer questions regarding the use of tools and/or platforms.

• Provides timely and accurate answers to customer inquiries.

• Writes technical documentation for Hardware Application projects.

Level of Responsibility:

• Works under supervision.

• Decision-making affects direct area of work and/or work group.

• Requires verbal and written communication skills to convey basic, routine factual information.

• Tasks consist of a limited number of steps and can be referenced using directions or manuals.
