Job function:

The individual Customer Engineers is expected to:

• Understand every aspect of customers' requirements and designs

• To communicate with internal product & development teams on any HW/SW design related issues/features from customer designs

• To work with customers in resolving any feature development and product commercialization issues.

Responsibilities in this role shall include the following:

• Integration, development, and system debugging on OEM designs.

• Offering PCIe technical support according to customer specific request/design and in charge of end-to-end support.

• Customize Windows ARM-based PCIe drivers and hub integration for OEM

• Co-work with cross functional teams in Qualcomm to speed up the solutions to customer problems

• Require the ability to understand and explain technical information in a concise manner with strong communication skills between customers and developers

• Provide the PCIe performance measurement, analysis, and optimization

• Create application notes, technical memo, and provide training to customers

• Partner with external customers to understand the requirements and assist customers to define proper product spec and plans.

• Handling customer Q&A, and work closely with internal developers.

• Provide training to customer and communicate with internal for feature design details.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field

• 3+ years Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience

• 3+ years’ experience with Programming Language such as C, C++ 3+ years’ experience with embedded system

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.

• Rich experience in WDF, PEP and ACPI is a plus.

• Experience with Qualcomm PCIe and familiar with related HW interfaces is a plus.

• Experience on 3rd party Embedded Controller (EC) and related peripheral drivers will be a plus

• Experience on 3rd party component integration is a plus. Component such as modem module, WiFi module, ethernet PHY and etc.

• Natural self-starter, self-motivated, independent, and resourceful problem solver.

• Outstanding communication skills capable of presenting persuasively to all levels of the organization in an articulate and succinct manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Applications Engineering, Software Development experience, or related work experience.

PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.

• 1+ year of any combination of academic and/or work experience with debugging techniques.
