We also serve an increasing number of external airfreight and express cargo shippers via domestic and international routes.Key job responsibilities
Data Analysis:
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to uncover insights
- Develop and implement statistical models and algorithmsCollaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements- Present findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences
Data Collection and Integration:
- Gather data from various sources (databases, APIs, files, etc.)
- Design and implement data integration processes
- Ensure data quality and consistency across systems
Data Modeling and Optimization:
- Write complex SQLs to convert raw data to meaningful metrics
- Optimize SQLs for improved performance
Report and Dashboard Development:
- Develop interactive visualizations to present data effectively
Data Governance and Security:
- Ensure data security and compliance with regulations
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with the latest BI tools and technologies
- Automate processes where possible to increase efficiency
Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain documentation for data models, processes, and reports
- Provide training and support to end-users on BI tools and dashboards
Problem-solving:
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and technical issues
- Develop solutions to complex data-related problems
Data Strategy:
- Contribute to the organization's overall data strategy
A day in the life

- 5+ years of analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL etc. experience
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
- Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
- Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling
