About the role:The Software Quality Engineer will perform independent software quality reviews of deliverables related to the development life cycle for software and computerized systems. Provides technical consulting and guidance in software development and maintenance in a regulated environment. Actively involved in addressing solutions to technical problems. Also provides software quality assistance to those who design, develop and implement automated system solutions. Serves as a Quality representative to improve awareness, visibility, and communication on quality initiatives to support departmental, functional, site, divisional and corporate quality goals and priorities.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provide detail orientation and learn to interpret and follow established procedures.
  • Develop solutions to mitigate procedural, system, functional, and cross-functional issues.
  • Interpret and apply quality and regulatory standards.
  • Apply sound, systematic problem-solving skills in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.
  • Strengthen the organization by developing depth and breadth of knowledge within the software quality specialization area.
  • Ensure that project and associated documentation is compliant with requirements and objectives.
  • Contribute to the completion of milestones associated with specific projects and achieve results.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Science/Engineering/Software discipline
  • 0-1 years of related work experience in Software QA and/or computer systems validation.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC), preferably with automated manufacturing and computerized lab systems.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing in regulated industry.
  • Ability to understand and evaluate procedural documents to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and requirements.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Customer service-oriented with the ability to communicate effectively (written and verbally) with individuals at all levels.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with internal teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills; analytical, process, and results oriented.

Maximum Salary: $ 110500

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
