Process Overview

GBAMT is engaged in over 800+ applications and across the complete spectrum of Application Development and Production Support. GBAMT’s type of work and services include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using a wide range of technologies. GBAMT India team is doing extensive work in several regulatory, strategic and initiatives programs. GBAMT has also established a strong partnership with the GBAM operations team in India to deliver automation and functional enhancements to the applications that they are using.


Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support applications for 100% SLA meets & On call support.
  • Production Ticket/Issue Triage.
  • Preparing RCA – Root Cause Analysis (RCA) document
  • Partner with Application team, CCO, Level 2 support teams to resolve the issue
  • Prepare and/or review Impact Analysis based on issue analysis
  • Write scripts to automate mundane daily BAU tasks
  • Provide technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives

Requirements:

Education:B.E. / B. Tech/M.E. /M. Tech/B.Sc./M.Sc./BCA/MCA (prefer IT/CS specialization)

Not Mandatory; ITIL certified are given preference

Foundational skills:

  • At least two years of Development experience.
  • 4 - 6 years of experience in Java/J2ee application L3 production support.
  • Experience in application frameworks like Spring, Hibernate, Dockers and Containers.
  • Good Experience in tools like Splunk, Dynatrace and Glass box.
  • Good experience in writing SQL DML.
  • Basic programming knowledge using UNIX, AWK, SED.
  • Understanding in Server-side Java design and development, SOAP/Restful services, Design Patterns, J2EE, XML/XSLT, XML, JDBC, AOP and JSON.

Desired skills:

  • Experience/Knowledge in WebSphere application Server.
  • ITIL foundation certification.
  • Effective Communication – Clear, Concise & Ability to articulate Problem/Solution.
  • Should be able to participate or conduct conference calls with tech and business users.

Rotational Shift (7:30 to 16:30; 10:30 . to 19:30; 11:30 to 20:30).
