As the Project Technical Director at NEOM, you'll take ownership of overseeing and managing the entire design framework. You will be able to use your extensive knowledge, expertise, and experience in aviation infrastructure, including airport planning, airside and landside operations, and terminal design. Your background in project management and industry best practices will be crucial. You will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, ensuring project objectives are met within scope, budget, and schedule. You'll need a flair for collaboration and forming robust relationships within the various offices of Jacobs, to ensure successful interfaces with stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
You will be also responsible on the following:
• Provide overall leadership and direction, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. Define project scope, deliverables, and success criteria, in line with the client’s requirements.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, regulatory bodies, contractors, and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration throughout the framework lifecycle.
• Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies. Oversee the execution of project activities, ensuring adherence to project schedules and budgetary constraints.
• Utilize extensive knowledge and experience in airport architecture and engineering, as well as operations, to provide strategic guidance and ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Develop and manage project budgets, monitor project expenditures, and implement cost control measures to ensure financial objectives are met. Evaluate and approve project-related expenses, contracts, and change orders.
• Implement quality control measures to ensure that project deliverables meet or exceed industry standards and client expectations. Establish and monitor quality benchmarks and implement corrective actions as necessary.
• Identify, assess, and manage project risks. Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to minimize potential disruptions and ensure project success.
• Build and lead a high-performing project team, including project managers, engineers, contractors, and support staff. Provide guidance, mentoring, and performance feedback to drive team productivity and foster a positive work environment.
• Oversee contract negotiations, procurement processes, and vendor relationships to ensure timely delivery of goods and services while maintaining compliance with project requirements and legal obligations.
