Installs, terminates, troubleshoots, and repairs electrical equipment with support from instrumentation, utilizing technical, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills
Operates, diagnoses, analyzes, and repairs industrial equipment such as cooling towers, compressors, pumps, chillers, air handling units, electric doors, overhead cranes, and exhaust ventilation systems
Works independently, demonstrating resourcefulness, planning, and organizing work efficiently
Performs daily commissioning and maintenance duties, including supporting startups, performance testing, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency tasks as needed
Consults manuals and interprets circuit diagrams, blueprints, and schematics for troubleshooting and repairs
Produces as-built drawing markups for delivery to the design team for recording
Repairs and adjusts system components or replaces defective parts, and develops equipment SOPs for equipment startups
What You’ll Bring
3-5 years of hands-on experience in process automation or electromechanical systems
Proficient in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, loop drawings, P&ID drawings, electrical prints, and schematics
Ability to work at heights up to 80 ft and lift 50 lbs regularly
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in computer and mobile devices
Experienced with hand tools, electrical meters, testing equipment, and handling voltages up to 480 VAC
In-depth knowledge of switchgears, troubleshooting motor controls, drives, and electronic components, with an understanding of drives and PLCs a plus
Willing to assist with emergencies and daily operations outside normal duties, including mechanical, instrumentation support, and general building maintenance
