Job Summary
As a Wealth Management, Cross Asset Trader, Executive Director, at JP Morgan, you will be responsible for helping to (a) develop market views; (b) investigate and determine the best execution vehicles to express market views, both tactical and longer-term; (c) market investment ideas; and (d) execute cash equities, bonds and FX trades globally. You will also collaborate with other team members to provide high-quality client service and ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal policies.
Job Responsibilities
- Trading of fixed income securities to JPM Global Wealth Management clients, across both developed and emerging market debt
- Execution of cash equity trades to JPM Global Wealth Management clients
- Strong market knowledge, with an understanding of trading conventions, as well as relative value analysis
- Idea generation through both qualitative and quantitative data analysis as well as assisting with development of trading electronic automation
- Providing our Investors with exceptional guidance & service in navigating and trading the global fixed income & equity markets
- Building relationships within front office and support areas, and be able to leverage them for exceptional client service
Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Economics
- Minimum 10 years’ experience in fixed income & equity sales and trading experience at an Asset Management firm, Private Bank, Wealth Manager of Institutional Investor
- Experience in capital markets, buyside/sell side trading or electronic trading with familiarity in all aspects of fixed income & equities in an institutional setting
- Strong market knowledge, with an understanding of trading conventions as well as relative value analysis
- Strong interest and passion for financial markets, international affairs, and geopolitical events
- Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills to effectively articulate investment processes and views
- Strong quantitative, data analysis and modeling skills
- Strong understanding of financial markets. The candidate will frequently participate in cross asset dialogue
Preferred Qualifications, Skills And Capabilities
- Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage as this position has opportunities to cover markets in regions like China and Taiwan
- Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) preferred
- Coding skills
- Experience in a cross-asset setting
- Experience working both on technological development within a trading setting as well as using quantitative skills to improve efficiency and investment process of team
- Strong knowledge of local regulatory policies and guidelines
