The ideal candidate for this role is hands-on, willing to jump in where needed, and has a passion for learning more about marketing. What’s more, Orca’s culture is one of collaboration. This individual will report into the Director of Partner + Regional Field Marketing and liaise with other marketing functions, including Product Marketing, Social Media, Partner Marketing to support their strategies and execution.
As part of the job you’ll:
- Work directly with the APAC Regional Sales Team to identify and build a strategic events & campaigns calendar which supports the team’s revenue goals.
- Project manage field & channel partner campaigns and events from start to finish; you’ll be supporting procurement, logistics, creative and follow up.
- Work with procurement and legal to support contracting and payment of regional events.
- Be confident liaising with the other marketing functions like Product Marketing and Social Media in order to ensure coverage and localisation for your regional campaigns.
- Have familiarity utiliinge internal tools such as SFDC, Asana, Marketo, G Suite, 6sense and Zip
- Be comfortable managing shipping and production of swag across the APAC region.
- Act as the regional marketing liaison for APAC Marketing requests.
- Manage the regional marketing budget under the guidance of the Director to support the Sales and Channel Sales Team.
- Formulate creative ideas and approaches to optimize cost effective pipeline acceleration activities across different prospect segments and personas – as well as help develop and execute
- Other duties may be assigned as needed and work demands.
About You
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and/or equivalent experience
- Prior marketing events experience
- Detailed-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills as well as process improvement.
- Ability to communicate well at all levels of an organization via presentation, written, and spoken channels
- Customer Service minded professional- knows how to communicate internally with tact and professionalism. Understands competing priorities.
- The ideal candidate must also be tech savvy and have excellent computer skills including advanced GSuite (Gdrive, gsheets etc) as well as strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
- This person will have demonstrated success managing multiple and diverse tasks/projects; strong attention to detail and outstanding follow-through;
- Must embrace working fast and have a mindset of continuous improvement
