As a Product Manager for the consumer risk product portfolio, you will lead the communication / notifications strategy for PayPal overlooking the performance that includes but is not limited to latency, delivery rate, customer experiences etc., closely partnering with cross-functional product teams that trigger notifications and come up with plan to improving the success of the channel / enabling alternative innovative solutions that improve the overall product success. This role will also require partnering directly with analytics in building scorecards and dashboards that track the potential and performance of features planned and collaborate with external vendors and services in defining contracts for notification channels.
In This Role, You Will
- Responsible for notification strategy and uplifting the performance of customer notification channel experiences.
- Setting up targets partnering with stakeholders that require / send notifications and optimize for the overall improvement of the communication channels.
- Partner closely with Finance in finalizing Opex, External vendors (in signing / managing purchase orders), Reporting numbers to leadership and partner with several cross functional product teams across the company in realizing the goals and benefits.
- Independently drive high-velocity execution with cross-functional partners to deliver impact.
- Gain a deep understanding of customers opportunities, needs, and pain points, working closely with our cross domain partnering teams and vendor management to drive business impact.
- Work with your engineering / strategy peers to evaluate solutions and technical feasibility to deliver functional industry-leading solutions.
Qualifications
- Is passionate for solving customer pain points through backend risk infrastructure and vendor services and has a strong foundation of knowledge and experience in dealing with customer communication frameworks.
- Has a deep technical understanding of pushing boundaries to deliver exceptional value to users.
- Has experience with earlier-stage product development and getting creative to quickly drive learning and impact.
- Has a strong quantitative and analytical mindset understanding to define success and move critical metrics.
- Helps build environments that foster close partnerships with other product managers and cross-functional teams from Engineering, Data Science,Vendor partners, and more.
