About the RoleTwitch is building the future of interactive entertainment. As a Software Engineer with Safety Systems in the Community Health Org, you'll work as part of a team to build systems and processes that are designed to keep our creators and viewers safe on Twitch. You’ll build systems to support user reporting flows and help maintain our internal platform used to triage and process reports, enforcements, appeals and reinstatements. Safety Systems engineers also help integrate new products being developed at Twitch to safety tooling and regulatory compliance by consulting with various internal and external stakeholders.You Will
- Design, deliver, and improve performance, reliable, and high-performance systems- Produce clean, high-quality code, tests, and documentation
- Actively participate in code and design reviews with peers and partners
-Contribute engineering input and feedback into product planning processes

- Willingness to try new things and work with a diverse group of people- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent industry experience as a Software Engineer
- A foundation in data structures and algorithms.- Familiarity with scalability, concurrency, API design, data modeling, and distributed systems fundamentals

- Familiarity with AWS infrastructure- Experience with email / notifications technologies- Experience writing Go in production systems- Experience with front-end or full-stack developmentPursuant to the San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance, we will consider for employment qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records.
