Your responsibilities will be:

  • Analyzing and performing security infrastructure risk assessment

  • Conducting cyber threat management and analysis

  • Verifying that there are controls as required by Citi security policies and standards

  • Managing enterprise clustered firewalls and troubleshooting complex connectivity issues and outages

  • Providing individual leadership in the realm of troubleshooting major incidents and problem management

  • Adhering to Citi's Corporate, Information Security and other functional standards and controls

  • Producing high quality documentation, schematics and presentation materials as needed

  • Collaborating with Citi security developers on internally developed tools for telemetry gathering and data visualization efforts

  • Supporting the Observability tool by maintaining and troubleshooting Grafana dashboards

Qualifications

  • 6+ years' hands-on Network Security experience with Firewalls, ACL’s, intrusion detection, proxies, vulnerability scanning, DNS, DDoS mitigation, SIEM platforms, etc.

  • Hands-on experience with firewalls and SASE (e.g., Checkpoint, Palo Alto, Zscaler, etc.)

  • Experience working with Checkpoint and Palo Alto, etc.

  • Strong understanding of network security frameworks (e.g., NIST)

  • Scripting experienced required (Python highly preferred)

  • Prior networking experience with routing/switching, LAN, WAN, etc. inclusive of modern network virtualization concepts at a professional level proficiency is preferred

  • Fluency in English


Education

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related fields or equivalent experience

  • One or more of the following certifications are preferred: Fortinet, Check Point, Palo Alto firewalls, CISSP or CCNA/CCNP
