About the Role
- - - - What the Candidate Will Do ----
- Participate on the front-lines, leading complex cross-functional projects from start to finish. Participate in every phase of the product life cycle: from ideation, to PRDs, QA and release
- Own the sprint planning cycle to maximize engineering productivity by vetting completeness of requirements, business needs, and assigning ambitious but obtainable workloads
- Work closely with our partners in SEO, Applied Science, Web Analytics, Data Engineering and CRO to drive products that accelerate Uber’s growth and top of funnel
- Own programmatic publishing capabilities that enable SEO experimentation and scalable content generation powered by LLMs
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders like legal and localization to ensure our CMS is compliant and up-to-date, reflecting all the countries and languages in which Uber operates while adhering to local laws and regulations
- Conduct customer research to identify high impact new features, and create robust documentation using user stories, specifications and more
- Maintain the team’s standard of excellence - always doing the right thing and ensuring users at Uber are empowered to create performant content and experiments
- - - - Basic Qualifications ----
- 7+ years experience in a product management role and a solid understanding of product management principles and methodologies
- Experience working with Content Management Systems (CMS) and strong familiarity with web publishing best practices
- Experience in managing large scale, complex, multi-language multi-country sites and working with translation vendors and agencies
- Strong understanding of web analytics: knowledge of SQL, attribution systems and methodologies and nuances between reporting for channels like CRM vs SEM
- Strong project management, interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to thoughtfully prioritize several competing projects and timelines to maximize engineering output and business impact
- Insatiable curiosity about how LLMs and AI services can change the web publishing and management experience
- - - - Preferred Qualifications ----
- Experience with large scale migrations of content and systems
- Experience with Tableau, Google Data Studio, Kibana, Mixpanel, Amplitude and other business intelligence tools
- Familiarity with traditional, headless and enterprise CMS systems like: Wordpress, Contentful, and Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
- Basic knowledge of web programming languages (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) or general-purpose programming languages
- Strong understanding of SQL and/or python
- Experience working with SEO teams and interest in GEO / AEO
For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$190,000 per year - USD$211,000 per year.
