- Business partnering with Sales and other teams throughout BMC
- Participate in annual and long-range planning, develop quarterly forecasts, and zero-base budgeting
- Advance your leadership skills through encouragement and knowledge sharing, as well as leading projects and presentations
- Use data analysis skills to compile and analyze financial information and trends for the assigned organization and communicate results and recommendations to management and the business.
- Work with the team to develop and maintain processes and reports to track key business metrics.
- Contribute to the enhancement of policies, procedures, and business practices that improve efficiency within the finance function and the business.
- Develop and maintain integrated financial statement plans and forecasts using detailed financial metric modeling and analytics
To ensure you are set up for success, you will bring the following skillset & experience:
- You hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
- You have 6+ years of advancing experience in a Finance Analyst related role
- You have a strong knowledge of financial principles and accounting/budgeting practice
- You have advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, as well as strong analytical skills
- You understand core finance business processes that allow you to ensure timely delivery of financial results including Quarterly Business Reviews, close processes, SOX controls, and Audit
- On-going experience with margin analyses, business case models, and cost build-up exercises
- Experience with Tableau, OneStream and Adaptive Analytics are preferred
- Experience in supporting a SaaS-based product sales organization and/or working for a Sale Finance organization is a strong plus
