Your impact
As a vital member of our Irvine rail team, you’ll have the opportunity to support various large-scale design-build and design-bid-build rail projects locally and across the country. You will be responsible for providing support on track design components such as: horizontal and vertical track alignments, special trackwork, rail calculations, sketches, quantities, and technical comparisons.
This position is non-exempt and paid hourly.
Here's what you'll need
- 1-2 years experience working in rail design
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Experience working in MicroStation/Inroads and OpenRail
- Strong analytical, conceptual, organization, communication, and time management skills
- A strong interest in learning rail engineering
Ideally, You’ll Also Have:
- Professional expertise with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- 3D modeling Experience
- Experience on both Freight and Commuter Rail project
