Depth & Scope:

  • Accountable for a specific LOB, business pillar or multiple segments, and high level of complexity and attributes
  • Recognized as top level expert with significant in-depth and/or breadth of expertise in their in a complex field and knowledge of broader related areas
  • Senior specialist providing advisory services to executives, business leaders and governs the requirements for own work
  • Integrates knowledge of the enterprise functions or business segments overarching strategy in leading programs and projects within one or more areas of expertise
  • Anticipates emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operations improvements
  • Advises on execution strategy and leads the development and deployment of functional programs or initiatives within their own field or across multiple specialties

Education & Experience:

  • Undergraduate degree or Business Architecture certificate and/or 10+ years relevant experience
  • Extensive conceptual and practical understanding of Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), can articulate how the agile framework is an enabler of business outcomes in banking and translate its value in overcoming current state
  • Strong C level/exec level presence, facilitation and communication skills (help leaders visualize concepts, simplify complex scenarios, drive and influence prioritization & consensus)
  • Good understanding of Consumer and Commercial banking business fundamentals to include (Products & Services, front/middle/back office functions & interactions, market/industry players & trends)
  • Can run voice of the customer and/or bring customer view to the table
  • Experience running journeys and execute the crosswalk with platforms
  • Can help articulate and translate business strategy to actionable OKRs
  • Can see and articulate the business strategy interdependencies across the org
  • Can ladder up and ladder down OKRs throughout the organization and can see and articulate the interdependencies across the org
  • Demonstratable expertise in mapping, identifying & solutioning gaps between both customer & employee experiences, interactions, business capabilities, processes and technology
  • Ability to quickly and effectively capture, communicate and align strategic objectives with business and operating models
  • Familiar with the Fundamentals of Business Architecture - Business Capabilities GAP analysis, maturity and change management
