About the Role:
Your responsibilities will include:
- Remediate current data sources and improve data quality, consistency, and usability.
- Develop and maintain documentation for our data platform to support a single source of truth for business analytics.
- Translate complex business needs into actionable data use cases and product roadmaps.
- Collaborate with engineers and analysts to design data models optimized for reporting and BI tools.
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies and identify opportunities for platform and process improvement.
- Drive effective communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
- Establish and maintain data governance policies, access controls, and metadata standards.
- Ensure the platform supports data scalability, security, and enterprise-wide accessibility.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years in data product management, business intelligence development, platform engineering, or analytics product ownership
- Expertise in SQL and data modeling, preferred Microsoft SQL server database experience
- Strong organization and documentation skills, familiar with Confluence preferred
- Data transformation experience using Tableau Prep/Alteryx
- Hands-on experience in BI tools like Tableau is a must
- Familiarity with modern data stack technologies (e.g., DBT, Airflow) preferred, Snowflake experience a must
- Strong communication skills to bridge technical and non-technical audiences
- Analytical mindset with a passion for challenging the status quo
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to drive initiatives independently
