In this role, you will play a critical part within the Cloud Product Skills team, collectively responsible for upskilling the SAP workforce on Product Management, User Experience, Research, Cloud Product Management, Product Marketing, Generative AI, Data Literacy, Artificial Intelligence, and more.
You will specialize in UX topics (UX Design, UX Research) in a team collectively focused on Product marketing/Product Management/UX skills. You will be responsible for innovating engagement models to deliver not just world-class instruction but also fostering learning simulation and implementation. You will collaborate with external vendors or local teams to deliver meaningful training that drives behavioral change.
What you’ll do
The Corporate Learning Senior Specialist will focus on designing and implementing learning content related to a skills cluster aligned with their specialization, with responsibilities including:
- Continuously collaborating with our learning business partners and strategic stakeholders across the development organizations, leveraging skills assessment data, root cause analysis information, and learner feedback to understand SAP’s learning needs.
- Contributing to prioritizing learning initiatives and formats that maximize the training impact on Cloud Product Skills topics within available resources.
- Identifying measurable impact indicators for programs within the portfolio, aligned with indicators selected within the Learning organization. Interacting with functional management teams to evaluate the effectiveness of established programs.
- Determining the appropriate scale of learning programs and the most appropriate targeting for the programs offered, including whether personalization is appropriate.
- Managing existing training or contracting with external vendors to enable employees to participate in external training programs as needed. Sourcing and managing external vendors (e.g., Requests for Proposals (RFPs)) to develop and/or deliver cost-effective and business-relevant training initiatives (as needed).
- Continuously identifying efficiency gains that maintain or increase impact with the same or fewer resources.
- Managing training offerings from conception, maintenance, and impact by exploring multiple options to deliver outcomes for the business and employees.
- Collaborating across SAP Learning teams to advise on the people, processes, content, and tools needed to deliver exceptional learning value to the organization. This includes avoiding or minimizing duplication in other areas and taking clear ownership of how we will achieve our shared goals.
- Providing thought leadership in UX topics to and through our communities and identifying key trends impacting learning, training, and other technical opportunities to ensure we deliver world-class training to SAP talent.
- Collaboratively integrating external perspectives into SAP’s understanding of “what good looks like” for various skills across roles. Translate that into ongoing updates of our programs.
- Collaborating with a skills taxonomy and learning business partners teams to understand needs, align priorities, identify efficiency gains, and build consensus across the business for the learning initiatives we drive.
What you bring
- Minimum 3 years of credible domain expertise in UX or Product.
- Deep knowledge of current product trends and conceptual models in the industry; experience working in the product operating model considered an asset. Clear understanding of Product Management and UX also preferred.
- Proven ability to work successfully in the training or people development field within globally distributed teams and cultures.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- University degree (Bachelor's minimum) or equivalent work experience
- Relevant professional experience working in a corporate environment, preferably in a large, global tech organization.

- Can clearly and convincingly communicate complex facts or cases to different audiences and organizational levels. Ideally, experienced in influencing, presenting to, and partnering with senior management. Able to influence and drive consensus.
- Understands the SAP development organization and relevant training challenges in the multinational and professional context. Has a proven ability to overcome high levels of ambiguity and clarify complex topics.
