Citi is seeking a Finance Accounting Analyst to join Citi's Private Bank group in Getzville, NY. This is a hybrid role with associate reporting into the Getzville, NY office 3 days per week.

The Finance Accounting Analyst is an intermediate, developing professional role. In this role, you will apply analytical thinking and knowledge of data analysis tools and methodologies. Assist in the Private Bank month-end close, reconciliation of granular Private Bank data to corporate results, monitor data loads, produce ledgers and run other referential reports for controllers' team, load and reconcile daily Profit & Loss and balance sheet into corporate systems.Responsibilities:

• Assist in the Private Bank month-end close
• Reconciliation of granular Private Bank data to corporate results
• Monitor data loads, produce ledgers and run other referential reports for the Controllers team
• Load and reconcile daily Profit and Loss and balance sheet into corporate systems.
• Review and examine key controls for accounting process within the process handled.
• Take responsibility for the accurate reporting of accounting reconciliations on Citi reporting tools.
• Identifies and resolves problems using independent judgment for assigned products/ business.
• Resolves problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired accounting experience and guided by precedents.
• Implements work flow or process change and redesign basis strong basic understanding of the specific product / business / function.
• Able to articulate own process along with its key controls and support reasoning with appropriate evidence in assigned area of work.
• Provides guidance to new or lower-level analysts.

Qualifications:

• 2 + years of experience in accounting management with commensurate stakeholder management experience
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills with experience large dataset

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree
