- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in C++, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies.
- Experience designing and developing relational databases, database internals, query processing and query optimization.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- Experience in implementing software stack responsible for large scale data processing systems or large scale database systems at scale.
- Experience in one or more of Google Cloud Big Data products (Dataflow, BigQuery, Dataproc, etc) or open source or proprietary equivalents (Apache Hadoop, Spark, Beam, etc)
