Job Responsibilities:
- Course Content Development:
- Design and develop engaging and effective course content focused on key data-related topics, including:
- Knowing Your Data
- Making Data Accessible
- Data Risk
- Data Consumption
- Data Quality
- Data Ownership
- Data Privacy
- Data Governance
- Collaborate with data owners, data practitioners, analysts, and other relevant subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance.
- Update and revise training materials as needed to reflect changes in data tools, technologies, concepts and methodologies.
- Training Session Facilitation:
- Host and facilitate data training sessions, both in-person and virtual.
- Ensure a positive and interactive learning environment for all participants.
- Address participant questions and provide support during training sessions, leveraging your deep understanding of data concepts.
- Course Setup and Logistics Management:
- Schedule data training sessions and manage the training calendar.
- Book venues and arrange necessary equipment for in-person training sessions.
- Ensure all training materials and resources are accessible to participants before and during sessions.
- Confluence Site Development and Maintenance:
- Develop and maintain a Confluence site dedicated to these trainings.
- Ensure the site is user-friendly, up-to-date, and contains all necessary training materials and resources.
- Regularly review and update the site to reflect new content and improvements.
- Reporting and Data Analysis:
- Develop reports and dashboards to track key training metrics, such as attendance, completion rates, and participant feedback.
- Analyze data to gauge the effectiveness of training programs and identify areas for improvement.
- Implement changes and enhancements to future training modules based on data insights.
- Driving Data Culture:
- Promote the importance of data literacy and a data-driven culture within the organization.
- Advocate for best practices in data management, data privacy, and data governance.
- Encourage and support employees in adopting data-driven decision-making processes.
- Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with other data-related learning and development initiatives as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data training and development.
- Provide administrative support for the learning and development team.
Required Qualifications, skills and Capabilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree required in any field of study
- 7+ years of experience in the application of data management, data governance, data risk, data analytics, etc.
- Demonstrated ability to create and deliver learning interventions to upskill analytics & data practitioners.
- Experience building a strategy and roadmap across a large, diverse, global organization.
- Demonstrated ability to manage tight delivery timelines, and ensure our organization is on track to execute and deliver strategic change that meets our goals.
- Proven ability to execute via successful internal partnerships with other organizations – with the ability to influence people at all levels, across a broad variety of job functions.
- Represent the CDAO vision, strategy, and roadmap with key senior stakeholders and in high visibility forums.
Preferred Qualifications, skills and Capabilities:
- Experience delivering data-related training or hands-on data management practices.
- Experience in Story Telling and Data Visualization
- Awareness of Alteryx, Tableau, etc. preferred
- Awareness of advanced concepts of Data Mesh, Data Engineering, etc. preferred
