This Financial Planning & Analysis role provides support, analysis, and insight for the QuarterlyMulti-Year Multi-Scenario ForecastResponsibilities:
- Execute rigorous review of various forecasting activities, including overlays, workstream adjustments, assumptions, benchmarking, 14A schedules, and forecast results.
- Engage/ lead discussion with 2nd Line of Defense teams (review & challenge), i.e., Model Risk Management and Capital Planning Review Team.
- Coordinate FP&A activities, including liaising with business FP&A teams, Risk, Treasury and Capital Planning; the ability to build partnerships is very important.
- Develop analytics to help drive understanding of key results by senior management, partner groups and 2nd Line of Defense teams
- Develop presentations/ analysis of review and challenge activities/results to PPNR Senior Governance Group
- Support Consent Order / Transformation milestones and respective deliverable/ activities
- Support resolution of Fed questions/variance analysis, develop and review regulatory materials.
- Support external and internal audits of the PPNR process and results.
- Contribute to technology projects as a business SME to enhance/ automate process
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of relevantfinance/business/accountingexperience in financial services
- Financial statement and specific product knowledge is preferred.
- Good working knowledge of RUBY system is a plus.
- Ability to translate complex financial schedules into meaningful analysis and presentations.
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to synthesize quantitative and qualitative data to draw conclusions and assist with decision making.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a balance of assertiveness and discretion to be a credible and sought-after resource.
- Flexibility to be effective and persuasive with all levels of management.
- Ability to build key cross-functional and cross-business relationships.
- Change agent mentality to drive for process enhancements and simplification; demonstrated ability to lead projects.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
