What You'll Do
We're looking for a virtual production technical systems engineer that will design, validate, implement and operationalize a groundbreaking new approach to delivering events. Using your expertise and industry insights, you'll work with your development and engineering peers on virtual production hybrid solutions, allowing for global resiliency and scale for our Cisco events and studio functionality in the cloud.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent years of experience
- 8+ years in events engineering, production and studio experience in a live broadcast environment
- Ability to design, validate, implement and operationalize virtual production studio and control room solutions for live broadcasts
- Experience with creating macros, studio control rooms and live encoding solutions and operations and support of these solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry awareness and understanding of trends, standards and ability to translate these into researched and proposed solutions for implementation and delivery
- Knowledge of Cisco Collaboration technologies and their application or usage in events
- VizRT, OBS, and virtual and cloud production experience/knowledge
- Proficient self-starter with excellent interpersonal, social, and communication skills; adept at supporting executive, communication, and events teams in an event setting
- Dynamic and motivated by collaboration with diverse global and multi-functional groups to ensure event success through teamwork; meticulous attention to crafting engaging and interactive event experiences
- Capable of thriving in fast-paced, evolving environments with tight deadlines; possesses deep expertise in studio and production processes for events and live broadcasts, alongside an innovative mindset for transformative event solutions
