Your key responsibilities

The SAP Solution Architect brings deep SAP functional and technical knowledge across the SAP S/4HANA stack to delivery robust, end-to-end SAP enabled processes and solutions to clients. The role requires a combination of strong functional/technical knowledge, project management skills, and a deep understanding of business process. Core responsibilities include the following:

  • Responsible for the design of end-to-end SAP-enabled processes and solutions, proactively managing all integration points across SAP functional areas
  • Work with SAP functional teams to design, build, and implement complex cross-functional SAP solutions
  • Responsible for managing consistency and quality of solutions across functional SAP workstreams
  • Support SAP functional teams through the evaluation and design of custom development (RICEFW) solutions
  • Lead SAP ‘Phase 0[ projects, including developing SAP deployment strategies and SAP-enabled technology roadmaps
  • Collaborate with SAP reporting and analytics, BASIS, development, data, and cutover/test management teams
  • Lead business development activities, including RFP pursuits, developing new SAP assets/offerings for and Develop SAP assets and offerings.

Skills and attributes for success

  • 10+ years’ experience with multiple end-to-end implementations of SAP or similar ERP system in a solution architect role.
  • SAP Energy sector experience is desired, but not a must have.
  • Strong written and verbal client-facing communication and presentation skills; should be comfortable interacting with clients daily
  • The ability to effectively team with diverse skills and backgrounds and foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment
  • Experience with (leading) proposal writing and preparing and delivering orals presentations
  • An interest in staying abreast of SAP and project management trends
  • A forward thinker and self-starter that thrives on an adapts quickly to new challenges
  • A strong work ethic, an ability to manage multiple tasks and tight deadlines with confidence and ease, and a high degree of professionalism to tackle evolving, challenging and diverse client needs

The salary range for this job in British Columbia is $120,500 to $216,000. Individual salaries within this range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and work location city.
