Job Description

Owns safety, quality, scheduling, and conflict resolution amongst staff and other stakeholders and assists in resolving operational, safety, and security issues.

Oversees flow of work through factories and streamlining processes and operations between groups and divisions.

Establishes tactical plans to ensure production schedules are met within established quality and cost objectives.

Ensures optimum total area performance in terms of safety, quality, output, and cost through staffing training development and retention of the group.

Understands scheduled and unscheduled equipment maintenance, repair, recovery, troubleshooting, tool quality, and tool run rate.

Assumes direct ownership and acts as the first responder of all onshift issues within assigned toolset or area.

Regularly reviews staffing certification levels that are tied to wafer ramp levels and ensures performance required number of certified individuals for each ramp threshold.

Develops longterm strategies for manufacturing operations capabilities to support future requirements.

Demonstrated discipline, attentiveness to detail, and the ability to work under limited supervision.

Capable of handling multiple assignments in a timely manner while meeting assigned deadlines.

Strong communication skills.

Train other technicians and lead by example attitude.

Qualifications

Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Education Requirement:Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelors or Licenciatura Degree in a Technical Engineering career such as Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Electro-Mechanic, Electronic, or related field.

- 3+ years of experience working in a High-Volume Manufacturing environment and/or equipment maintenance.- 3+ years of experience in managing indicators and working independently with limited supervision.- Willing to work on-shift (12 hours a day, 4 consecutive days of work followed by 3 consecutive off days).- Intermediate to advanced English Level.

Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in leading people especially technicians would be added advantage.- Knowledge of microprocessor test and finish equipment and process.- Knowledge of structured Problem-Solving Methodologies.- LEAN and Six Sigma.- Basic knowledge of statistics and data analysis methods using tools such as JMP, and Minitab.
