What We Do

Within the Multi Asset Solutions (MAS) investing group, we seek to develop a first-in-class digital advice platform across 401(k), IRA, and brokerage accounts, to provide individuals with custom tailored investment strategies to meet their retirement objectives.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

• Be part of a team, working closely with product development, UX designers, sales, and other engineers
• Combine an entrepreneurial mindset and technical skills to deliver value as an engineer
• Write high quality, well-tested, and scalable code
• Evaluate the short- and long-term implications of every implementation decision
• Grow professionally and learn from other accomplished software engineers through pair coding while helping your peers to do the same
• Collaborate on critical system architecture decisions
• Review and provide feedback on other developers’ code and design
• Evaluate modern technologies, prototype innovative approaches to problems and make the business case for change
• Use infrastructure-as-code to build and deploy cloud-native services in AWS

REQUIREMENTS

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering
• 3+ years of recent experience implementing Data Pipelines, ELT / ETL
• Experience with Cloud Data Warehouses, preferably Snowflake
• Experience with CI/CD for Data Warehouses
• Strong fundamentals in database design concepts and SQL
• Strong scripting / coding skills in a professional setting, preferably in Python
• Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms
• Excellent object oriented or functional analysis and design skills
• Proven communication and interpersonal ability
• Experience building client- and consumer-facing products is a plus, but far from required
• Experience in Data Science concepts, Machine Learning, or Artificial Intelligence is a plus
