This role is focused on enabling strategic and tactical business decisions within Innovative Medicines portfolio in the US. Products are in the CNS/Mental Health/Respiratory. Core responsibilities include working cross-functionally address business questions by leveraging various sources and applying integrated insights. This role will ultimately contribute to decisions regarding optimizations needed to achieve financial goals and requires strong collaboration with cross-functional. Communication skills and ability to present insights in an effective way across different levels of organization is imperative for success in this role.

How you’ll spend your day

• Work cross-functionally to identify key business questions within a standard planning cycle and develop analytical approaches to address them.
• Monitor and report weekly and monthly trends and determine ad hoc analysis that need to be conducted to help continue delivering strong brand performance.
• Synthesis insights from various datasets such as IQVIA national, subnational and claims data across customer groups (HCP, patients, etc.) and develop actional recommendation to brand team.
• Act as the key IQVIA contact for all data related information.
• Contribute to resource optimization analysis (e.g., marketing mix model).
• Perform marketing program return on investment analysis.
• Drive significant contribution towards actionable integrated analysis for each stage of business planning e.g., long range planning and annual brand planning, etc.
• Proactively reach out to cross-functional teams, such as primary market research, HEOR, market access analytics, Specialty Pharmacy analytics, and others to triangulate and integrated different sources of information for efficient and robust insights generation.
• Provide key inputs for forecasting assumptions.
• Present integrated insights to different levels of the organization in a clear way that leads to productive discussions and successful decision making.


Your experience and qualifications

Any equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience that fulfills the requirements of the position will be considered.

• Bachelor’s degree required, master’s degree preferred, in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, etc.
• Minimum 3 years of pharmaceutical or healthcare industry experience. Inline/pipeline analytics is preferred (Data Analytics and Consulting encouraged to apply).
• Experience managing and conducting successful secondary market research and data analytics.
• Working knowledge of multiple data sources such as IQVIA NPA, NSP, XponentPlantrack data, patient claims data, specialty pharmacy data.
• Experience working with complex cross-functional teams.

Key Capabilities:

• Possesses strong business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple priorities, processes, timelines, and expectations across stakeholder groups
• Proficient in a programming language such as SQL, Python or SAS, BI tool such as Tableau or Power BI, Excel and PPT
• Industry knowledge, understanding of regulatory environment, and good grasp of access dynamics
• Demonstrated ability to process complex information and summarize it in writing and / or verbally; employs active listening skills
• Demonstrated excellent presentation skills
