Key Responsibilities:
Planning: Coordinate the timely receipt of direct materials from suppliers and intercompany sources to meet production schedules
Order Management: Ensure accurate order processing and maintain a steady flow of deliveries, promptly informing customers of any disruptions
Supplier Coordination: Maintain constant communication with suppliers to ensure material availability, monitoring quantities and delivery timings
Data Accuracy: Receive delivery schedules from customers and accurately enter orders into our Oracle system
Warehouse Oversight: Monitor warehouse inventory and manage communications with customers regarding any conditions causing delays or uncertainties
Customer Relations: Immediately address any discrepancies in received orders and interface with Production Planning to meet delivery requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical discipline or a related field
3 to 5 years of relevant experience, ideally within a manufacturing business environment
Fluency in English is essential, additional languages are a plus
Proficiency in ERP systems (preferably Oracle) and EDI with customers
In-depth knowledge of logistics processes, including order processing, planning, and managing deliveries and freight forwarders
Results-driven, team-oriented, with strong planning and organizational skills
Excellent written and oral communication skills, with strong problem-solving abilities
Ability to interact effectively with diverse individuals and thrive in a multicultural environment
