• Investigate and analyze issues, as well as research opportunities for improvement of processes.
• Provide expert system and technical advice and guidance to developers.
• Enable the use of data quality and accuracy as a strategic enabler.
• Deliver technically complex solutions, and perform system integration support for all project work.
• Consult and partner with the business product owners to understand the end goal and offer solutions and recommendations during the design.
• Develop customized coding, software integration, perform analysis, configure solutions, using tools specific to the project or the area.
• Lead and participate in the development, testing, implementation, maintenance, and support of highly complex solutions in adherence to company standards, including robust unit testing and support for subsequent release testing.
• Build non-functional monitoring capabilities and provide escalated support for highly complex applications in production.
• Build in and maintain security controls and monitoring in support of company standards.
• Lead moderately complex projects and participate in larger, more complex initiatives.
• Solve complex technical and operational problems. Act as a resource for teammates with less experience
• May oversee the work of a small team.
• Lead and oversee the design/development of Informatica workflow processes and data mapping.
• Lead the design/development of data validation processes using Informatica Data Quality
• Responsible for delivering high quality working software and automating manual/reusable tasks working directly, and engage with, the business from the beginning of the design work. Leverage continuous engineering practices to deliver business value regarding effectiveness of the design.
• Monitor and analyze all production issues and inquiries and provide development solutions ensuring optimal ETL.
• Create and review operational procedures in the form of Operations manual for all ETL workflow
• Improving system quality by identifying problems and familiar patterns and developing standard operating procedures.
• Enhancing applications by identifying opportunities for improvement, making recommendations and designing and implementing systems.
• Develop code in accordance with the acceptance criteria established by the Product Owner.

Requirements

• Must have Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical/Electronics Engineering or related technical field
• Must have 6 years of progressive experience in software engineering or IT consulting positions performing/utilizing the following:

• Working within the banking and financial domain.
• Applying broad functional knowledge in requirement gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and deployment of applications.
• Knowledge of algorithms and data structures
• Troubleshooting software issues and debugging large codebase.
• In-depth knowledge in information systems and ability to identify, apply, and implement best practices.
• Planning and managing projects and solving complex problems by applying best practice.
• Providing direction and mentoring less experienced teammates.
• Utilizing experience with: Oracle, DB2, SQL, Hive, Informatica, PowerCenter, Big Data Analytics, IICS, and Data Warehousing.

• Position may be eligible to work hybrid/remotely but is based out of and reports to Truist offices in Atlanta, GA. Must be available to travel to Atlanta, GA regularly for meetings and reviews with manager and project teams within 24-hours’ notice.
