- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 14 years of experience leading negotiations or business development.
- 14 years of experience in energy market development, energy regulatory affairs, and energy policy advocacy across North and South America.
- Experience in people management.
- Experience working stakeholders, market dynamics, and regulatory frameworks of North and South American energy markets, including wholesale market operators (e.g., ERCOT, MISO, PJM, SPP), state public utility commissions, and federal energy agencies (e.g., FERC).
Preferred qualifications:
- Proven ability to manage high-impact campaigns and regulatory interventions to achieve strategic business objectives, particularly in securing data center capacity and advancing clean energy goals.
- Exceptional executive presence with the ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, including government officials, industry partners, utility partners, and internal teams.
- Demonstrated success leading desired outcomes in complex regulatory and legislative arenas.
- Demonstrated success managing and leading teams of 10 or more to achieve business objectives in complex energy markets, with a focus on cross-functional collaboration.
- Creative and strategic approach to solving ambiguous, multi-stakeholder challenges, thriving in environments with uncertainty.
