Required/Minimum Qualifications

  • 7+ years experience in working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
    • OR Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 5+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 4+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).
  • Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English.

Additional or Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Technology, or related field AND 8+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology)
    • OR Master's Degree in Business Administration AND 6+ years experience working in an industry (e.g., Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Energy, Government, Education), driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience (e.g., consulting, technology).
  • 7+ years experience in Public Sector Industry, prefered in Energy or Critical Infrastructure, driving digital transformation, or other relevant work experience.
  • 5+ years account management experience OR equivalent.
  • Communicating with impact, conflict resolution, and relationship management.
  • Driving operations, account management, and managing sales pipelines.
  • Sales skills such as consultative selling, negotiation, and problem-solving.

Customer Engagement

  • Engage with customers to establish a Rhythm of Business (RoB) and highlight the value of Microsoft solutions.
  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer's business and technology needs.
  • Lead opportunities and orchestrate internal teams to accelerate the customer's digital transformation.

Account Management:

  • Oversee the execution of account plans to meet revenue targets and customer needs.
  • Think strategically about customer planning and anticipate needs to turn enterprise accounts into strategic accounts.
  • Anticipate moves within accounts and determine prioritization of action based on customer needs and account risks.
  • Expand the network of key internal and external partners for accounts.

Sales Excellence:

  • Seek customer feedback to identify drivers of satisfaction/dissatisfaction and support customer needs.
  • Lead and orchestrate extended virtual teams to expand relationships with decision makers of accounts.
  • Educate decision makers on Microsoft's value proposition aligned to business objectives.
  • Develop value-proposition presentations and business plans to generate new opportunities.
Industry Knowledge:
  • Exhibits deep knowledge of the industry, current trends, and market dynamics, and the competitive landscape. Leverages their depth of industry knowledge to position Solution Area technology in industry context. Demonstrated ability to position how Microsoft products and solutions will help customers realize innovation through business transformation.
