Nokia Working Student - EMF data analysis 5G networks

Within Nokia EMF team, the apprentice role will be to:

• develop EMF data analysis tools for 5G operational networks,
• analyze operational performance of 5G features,
• propose configuration parameters optimization options to improve performances of current 5G networks and planned evolutions to 6G.

Planned duration: 2 years

Under the responsibility of his/her tutor, the missions during this apprenticeship will be as follows:

• Training on the behavior of EMF features, EMF measurements and EMF data analysis tools under the supervision of the principal EMF architect,
• Specification and development of upgrades or new EMF data analysis tools for operational 5G networks,
• Analysis of results and proposition of configuration parameters optimization options to improve performances of current 5G networks and planned evolutions to 6G,
• Analysis of operators’ requests and industrialization of EMF data analysis tools,
• Training of Nokia EMF teams about EMF data analysis tools.

Mandatory:

• Master or engineering degree in telecom networks, electronics, automation, informatics,
• English, fluent.

Nice to have:

• Good experience in IT and programming tools (Excel, PowerBI, VBA, Python, Matlab, script, etc.),
• Knowledge in data science,
• Knowledge of radio measurement equipment (power meter, spectrum analyzer, 5G decoder, network analyzer),
• Knowledge of radio propagation, antennas and electronics,
• Knowledge of 5G mobile networks (architecture and techniques).
