Job Details
Responsibilities:
- Lead development of multi-year business capability roadmaps for internal business units like Sales, Revenue, Customer Support, Employee Success, Security and Infrastructure.
- Facilitate enterprise strategy development, opportunity identification, cases, technology adoption opportunities, operating model development, and innovation opportunities. Lead formulation of strategies for the enterprise services like Identity, Network, Infrastructure, search, content management, data, integration, Lead to cash etc.
- Facilitate development of multi-functional business solutions that combine knowledge of business capabilities, value streams, and business processes.
- Partner with collaborators early in the project lifecycle to identify business, information, technical and security architecture issues and act as a strategic consultant throughout the technology lifecycle.
- Define architecture principles, guardrails, standards and policies.
- Lead or participate in the enterprise architecture governance, compliance and security activities (architectural reviews, technology sourcing, data governance) to ensure technology solutions are consistent with the target state architecture.
- Develop and apply standards and minimal viable architectures through the Enterprise Architecture governance model, which is advised by the business strategy and corporate governance.
- Promote the EA processes, strategies, and recommendations to the BT and business leaders and the extended BT teams.
- Provide architecture leadership and oversight for ground-breaking enterprise impacting initiatives.
- Support the development and execution of the change management plan for enterprise strategies, processes, or frameworks that the other BT teams will use/adopt.
- Lead enterprise architecture assessment to identify reuse opportunities and identify factors that need to be considered in the solution architecture.
- Develop and maintain architecture artifacts, frameworks, and patterns as references for various teams across BT
- Participate in the architecture community of practice, Business Technology (IT) talks, external events and customer briefings.
- Construct work that demonstrate how to move the business toward realizing its strategic goals and targeted business outcomes using structured approaches.
- Liaise with management and domain experts across the industry and within the organization to achieve enterprise architecture goals and objectives.
- Lead analysis of technology industry and market trends to resolve their potential impact on enterprise architecture
Requirements
- 15+ years dynamically responsible experience in information technology, with direct responsibility for strategy formulation and/or translation including substantial senior level technical experience in Enterprise Architecture (Business, Data, Applications, Security and Network)
- A related technical degree desired
- Proven track record (10+ years) in at least three disciplines, such as business, information, solution or technical architecture, application development, middleware, information analysis, database management or operations in a multi-tier environment
- 5+ years of leading and managing enterprise architecture in one or more of the following areas: enterprise transformation, business transformation and optimization, planning, leadership, business relationship management, and business process management
- Experience in C360 Platform, Data cloud, Agentforce, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, MuleSoft, Tableau, Slack and Heroku, associated architectures and capabilities
- Understanding of security and compliance frameworks works (NIST, Zero Trust, IAM)
- Experience with Security Architecture, Integration Architecture, Data Architecture
- Sophisticated knowledge of Generic standards: PCI, PII, SOX, GDPR
- Experience facilitating and leading multi-disciplined, high-performance teams. Experience with large scale project delivery (CRM, Business Intelligence / Enterprise Data Platform, Enterprise Resource Planning / Financials, etc.)
- Experience with defining enterprise architecture standard methodologies and guidelines with a track record of confirmed business impact
- Shown expertise in leading architecture assessments, roadmaps, and strategy development. Skilled in defining enterprise architecture’s current and future states, mapping applications to capabilities, conducting gap analyses, assessing business value, and identifying solutions to bridge gaps
- Exposure to multiple, diverse technologies and processing environments. Knowledge of business ecosystems, SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics
- Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks
- Ability to define, maintain and manage architecture models, frameworks, and artifacts and their building blocks (lower level component) for the enterprise
- Knowledge of all components of complete enterprise architecture
- Knowledge of business re-engineering principles and processes
- Ability to rapidly understand the functions and capabilities of new technologies and apply them to business needs
- Familiarity with basic graphical modeling approaches, tools and model repositories

- Shown success in applying a structured approach to analyze business problems and architect innovative technology-based solutions within the defined enterprise guidelines and standards

- Excellent planning and organizational skills. Experience with innovation and ideation methods, such as design thinking
- Ability to balance the long-term ("big picture") and short-term implications of individual decisions
- Ability to estimate the financial impact of EA alternatives
Preferred Skills:
- TOGAF and Sales certifications are preferred
