As a Senior Revenue Controller in JFrog you will...
Collaborate with North America Sales leadership to act as a trusted advisor, providing insights on sales strategies and accounting analysis for new initiatives.
Assist in the month-end closing processes, including monthly revenue recognition and commission capitalization in compliance with ASC 606. Oversee monthly revenue analytics and deferred revenue account reconciliations.
Perform in-depth research to ensure proper accounting for new product launches and complex sales programs, with an emphasis on ASC 606. Maintain comprehensive documentation of controls to support compliance and audit readiness.
Work with AR, IS, Legal, Sales, and Sales Operations to provide guidance on technical accounting policies and support the ongoing business needs related to revenue recognition and ARR.
Lead efforts to find solutions that balance business needs with accounting integrity.
Proactively identify areas for process improvement, partnering with other departments to streamline revenue processes and establish best practices across the organization.
To be a Senior Revenue Controller in JFrog you need...
7 + years of Experience in Finance within the tech industry, particularly in revenue teams, is highly advantageous.
CPA with Big 4 experience (preferably SaaS companies Audit or Professional department). Experience in Finance in the tech industry (especially in the revenue team) is a plus.
Working knowledge and experience with ASC 606.
Experience as a Finance Business Partner to Sales and other departments across the organization.
Strong business acumen with the ability to interpret technical accounting concepts and translate them into actionable insights for business decision-making.
Exceptional business partnering skills, with demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and at various levels within a company.
Exceptional ability to communicate and lead effectively, skilled in influencing cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
Working knowledge and approach to financial systems such as NetSuite, SalesForce and Zuora is a big plus.
WHAT JFROG CAN OFFER…
At JFrog, base salary is only one component of our compensation package.
This position has a base salary range between $150,000 to $175,000. Base salary will be based on your skills, qualifications, experience and location.
This position also includes an equity package of restricted stock units (RSU). In addition, JFrog employees are eligible to participate in our Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
